Ply Symposium Lecture Hall Seating

Ply Symposium Lecture Hall Seating is a specially designed solution for large amphitheatre like classrooms with graded seating, suitable for mounting onto multiple stepped levels. It features continuous rows of tables and tip-up seating, which are beam mounted and anchored to the floor.  Symposium is engineered to facilitate three vital factors: auto aligning of the seat to provide sufficient aisle space, increase the seat density and contribute to safety in terms of quick evacuation in case of an emergency by way of the tip-up seating.

Symposium is modular, with a 60 cm module per seat, to be placed as per the room layout as well as step gradation. It is an ideal solution for large university lecture rooms, training halls and auditoriums, and has been widely used by management and technical institutes. It is constructed with a sturdy steel structure of beams bolted on to the floor, on which table tops and tip-up bent plywood seats and backs are mounted, with wire book trays for storage. In addition, Symposium can be provided with perforated steel modesty panels if required.

1. Client to ensure that the flooring should be of sturdy civil structure with holding capacity suitable for anchoring 4-6 inch anchor bolts.
